In just under 4 months, I lost 20 lbs!
Celebrated by buying myself new make up, a straightener, a curling iron, three types of sunscreen, a new bike helmet (yee!!) and a bike lock! :)
I was away for a work conference in Boston! Which was awesome because it was Boston. But was not so awesome because I had to eat out for every meal and let’s just say it was a bad, bad week where eating and drinking are concerned.
HOWEVER! The hotel had a really awesome gym and I went every day. Except the day that I…wait for it…RAN MY FIRST EVER 5 K! AHH. I didn’t even know I was doing it til I got there (my ab muscles aren’t doing so great right now, though, so perhaps training would have been in order had I known) but I did it! I walked probably about 200 yards total (in two different increments) and ran the rest! THAT’S SO GOOD FOR ME. I thought I was going to faint…but Jillian Michaels was in my head the whole time telling me that unless I throw up, faint, or die, I have to keep going! And I made it! It was also SUPER beautiful because it was along the Charles River at like 7 am in the morning, with the sun rising and stuff. Just gorgeous!
I plan to do another one soon (and to train for it!) and to make it all the way straight this time! :)
I weighed in at 149.5 today! WOOT. only 9.5 lbs to go!!!!!!
I just ran the entire “loop” at my school for the first time ever! It’s on a giant hill, so half of it is uphill and the other half is down hill (of course the uphill part is second…) BUT I RAN THE WHOLE THING! 1.8 miles, which is huge for me! I hate running usually. but I didn’t stop! And yes, it took me 20 minutes…but I DON’T CARE BECAUSE I DID IT! :D!!!
But I seriously have like no time for tumblr these days! I have so much homework and stuff to do.
I wanted to update you: I’m 14 lbs down :)
I was bad this weekend for the first time since January…like really bad. But I’m back! And I’m refocused!
Happy notes will help me keep on track! :)
I am officially ending February 6.5 lbs lighter than I started it!
And I am 13.5 lbs lighter than I started with on January 1, 2012 :)

So, I just looked at myfitnesspal’s report for my monthly cal intake for feb!
There were only 4 days for which I went over 1500 calories :)
And I lost 6 lbs in that time :)
I finally ordered a long sleeve work out shirt so I can run and BIKE WHEN MY NEW BIKE FINALLY COMES IN!!!!
Also, I’ll be playing outdoor soccer in a few weeks, so I might need it!
I also ordered a new pair of shorts :)
…and a cute skirt. And a going out purse. And a cardigan. >.>
